POSTMASTER CADRE GRADE-1 SYLLABUS REVISED

Directorate vide memo No. 137-8/2009-SPB-II dated 7th March, 2011 issued instructions / orders in connection with pattern and syllabus for Limited Departmental Competitive Examination to fill up the vacancies in the grade of Postmaster Grade-I.

There will be two papers. Each paper will carry 200 marks. Duration will be 90 minutes for each paper.

There will be 100 questions of Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) in each paper.

Qualifying marks --- 40% marks in each paper subject to an overall average of 45% for general category and 33% marks in each paper subject to an overall average of 38% for SC/ST.

Syllabus --Paper -I : Customer Service and Grievances, Postal Operations & for Paper-II : Knowledge of products and services of Department of Posts, Marketing, General Awareness, Current Affairs, General principles of technology, Basic technology requirement and connectivity of computers.
