India Posts Pavilion at IITF Inaugurated: Commemorative Stamp on Children’s Day Released

India Posts is participating in the India International Trade Fair – 2012. India Posts has set up its Pavilion in Hall No. 10. The pavilion was inaugurated by Ms. P Gopinath, Member (Technology), Postal Services Board today.

The Department Of Posts celebrates the 14th of November, each year, with the issue of Special Postage Stamp on Children’s Day. As per tradition, Department Of Posts issued a stamp on “ Children’s Day ” which was released by Ms. P. Gopinath Member(Technology), Department of Posts , during a formal function organized at India Post Pavilion , Hall No. 10 , IITF-2012,. 

The design of the stamp is selected from the designs made by the children themselves in a Stamp Design Competition organized by the Department every year across the country. The theme of the contest for this year was “Post office 2050”.
