Extending Assistance to the Flood Victims of Uttarakhand, Department of Posts Contributes to the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund

Extending a helping hand to the victims of recent floods in Uttarakhand, the Department of Posts has contributed an amount of Rs. 1.41 crore to the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF). The Secretary of the Department, Smt. P. Gopinath, had appealed to all the staff to contribute one day’s salary on voluntary basis to PMNRF. After collecting the amount, the same has been deposited in the Relief Fund.
